A Lot Like Love is a movie that came out in 2005, and it has Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet in it. It's not one that won any awards or anything like that, but it is just a good movie... a definate chick flick. It has been on the movie channels alot lately, so I've seen it a ridiculous amount of times over the last couple of months, but I still watch it everyt time it comes on TV. It's the kind of movie that makes me think about love, because what does anyone really know about love, or what love is supposed to be like? I've seen people that are in love, but I have never experienced love myself, but I think i know what love is supposed to be like. And then there is a quote in the middle of the movie, when Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet are out in the middle of the California desert. Amanda Peet asks Ashton Kutcher if he was in love with her (he last girlfriend in the movie), and he says something to the effect of "I guess so-it felt like love. that sounds stupid". and Amanda Peet says "Honestly, if you aren't willing to sound stupid, you don't deserve to be in love." And to me that rings so true. If you aren't willing to sound or be or do something stupid, then what is the point of even being in love? And who really knows what being in love is really like?
