So, this past weekend was one of the best I've had in a while... probably since I moved here. Started out on Saturday and I had to work, which SUCKED, but got off work and sped to the fields for women's league EOST (End Of Season Tournament)... great fun. Got there for the second half of my teams second game. I got to play quite a bit because we only had nine once I got there. Of course, did I warm up or stretch? No. Anyway... had a great time during that game. Had a bye after that and got to eat Moe's, who catered, and hung out with Samantha, Joyner, Janet and Abby. Janet and I talked lots and LOTS of ultimate and just kinda caught up. Then my team had to play Joyner's team to go to the finals... and I ended up gaurding Jenn most of the time. She was slightly injured (which you better be ok!!) but it was still a lot of fun. We won, and then had to play Samantha's team in the finals. The whole time during the finals I'm thinking "What time is it? I'm supposed to leave for Auburn soon!!!". Besides that, I had a great game. Definatly turned it over a couple of times, but did pretty well over all on offense, and kept up on defense... i really think my track workouts are helping (but I still hate Scott). Anyway, my highlight (at least to myself) was when Chris O'Cleary was gaurding me. Now this woman is the captain of Strike, is tall with long arms and legs, so not the easiest person for short and slow me to have to play against. Somehow I get the disc off a cut from the stack, look downfield and Karen Johnson is running deep (another strike player, on my team). I don't even think, I just send on the my most beautiful flick hucks flying. AND IT WORKS. Karen catches it in the endzone for a score. I got a flick huck off on Chris O'Cleary! I was excited (and still am). I couldn't believe it. She's just such a good player and I've heard so much about her...yeah! Anyway, we didn't end up winning, but it was a fun game, and hopefully she'll remember who I am when i try out for strike this summer (hopefully).
After EOS was over, I sped to Auburn, and got there around 6:45, but it took me a little while to find Annie's house. I showered, and we met the girls at Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner, went and got Robert, and headed over to Wes's for some beer pong and general alcohol consumption. It was fun. I love the auburn girls, they are so fun and just down to earth and sweet. I ended up playing beer pong with Justin, which I suck at, but it was fun. There was no drunk dialing because i gave my phone to Robert and told him to not give it back to me... there is no telling who I would have called and what questions I might have asked in the state I was in. But it was a good time. Finally went to bed around 2:30 (3:30 my time) and instantly fell into a drunken sleep. Woke up around 11:30 and met Ray Ray for lunch, which was fun. I needed to sit and just talk and have some Caroloopy and Ray time... which just means that I tell him we aren't going to be friends anymore about a billion times!!!(kidding). Finally headed home around 1:30, and came back and just lounged here. It was a great weekend, continued my tradition of getting wasted every damn time I'm in Alabama, and had a drama-less weekend. Overall... one of the best in a while!
