So, things have been a little crazy, my work schedule has already changed, and I've been a little bit of everywhere lately (not surprising though!). But I'm starting to be more comfortable in ATL.
Now, the real reason for posting... T-town Throwdown, Tuscaloosa.
It was amazing!!!! I left ATL with Sam on friday night around 6:30, and since we got a HUGE craving for O'Charley's, we had an adventure Talledega. Oh, what an experience. We finally made it to Tuscaloosa and headed over to McCargos for a little pre-tourny drinking and Apples to Apples. Met Clawson at her house, and me and sam and Clawson stayed up until about 2 am talking. It was so great! Got up Saturday morning and made it to the fields and i immediatly started to become the social buttterfly that i can rarely be. Everyone was there... Auburn girls, Auburn boys, Bama boys, Gracyn, UTC ladies, it was so fun! And of course, because of this i was the last girl with UTK to get my cleats on, run my warm up lap, and stretch, so i got yelled at.
Our first game was against Auburn, and it was really fun. Annie has this killer inside out flick that she uses as her break flick, and i hate it. There wasn't anything that i could do about it!!! But UT won, 13-6. Next was CofC, and that was ridiculous... we played well, threw zone, and won 13-0!!! Next we had a bye, and i sort of just went around and socialized a bit with everyone that i knew. Game three: GA Tech. This was by far our hardest game of the day. We were back and forth all day, but we did pull it out in the end 8-5... i think. And Meredith and Erin each had a Callahan! It was amazing!!!! And McKenna got to come out and watch and she actually got to see me play really well. So that was really fun for me. Then we had to play UTC. This is rivalry that has been going on for a couple of years, and lately UTC has won against us. NOT THIS WEEKEND! We threw zone with a trap cup on them and they didn't know what to do. It was some of the most beautiful ultimate i've ever played or seen!!! we won 13-2 i believe. It was great! So, UT goes 4-0 for the first time ever! Then Erin and I played in the All Star game which was a little ridiculouse, but pretty fun! Headed to Clawson's for showers, and then to a late snack type dinner so that we wouldn't fall asleep before the party. Annie and Robert and Traci from Auburn joined us too. Finally headed to the party around nine, and hung out with the Auburn crowd, but only after stacey, Clawson and I had a red headed slut together. The party was great, and I drank quite a bit, probably the most i've ever had at a tourny. Danced and had a general good time. Got up late on sunday morning, and had to play vandy/nashville team. Took the game 13-1 i think. Then we had to play Birmingham club, and we won that one too, but only after almost falling apart, 13-5. Championship game: UTC vs UTK. Imagine that. So, we were a little over confident, and they wanted it, so it was a little close for me most of the game, but we pulled it out 13-8. IT WAS GREAT. We won the tourny, got an amazing trophy, and I ended up with blisters the size of my hand on both of my feet. But it was all worht it.
Highlights: Playing with Clawson... so amazing as a player, and so fun! TWO CALLAHANS- in a women's game.... HELL YEAH! Seeing everyone... It was so fun! The party was ridiculously fun. Playing with my UT and Knoxville girls... i forget how much fun it is, and how well all of us can really play together, becuase we do know eachother that well. And winning the tourny was pretty fun too!

Yeah! for finally having internet again...and an update
Yeah for finally having internet here at the current living establishment! My uncle finally got my internet hooked up, and after going about six months without, I'm having some issues not checking my email and facebook obsessively.
So, the ATL. Things are starting to look delightfully better, now that I've had a little more time to settle in. Last weekend Samantha, Teddy and I headed to B'ham for a one day hat tourny. It was super fun! My team ended up making to finals, losing by only two points... but it was still an absolute blast. I got to play with Potter, originally from B'ham, currently residing in panama city FL, and with Lee from Memphis. It was great, and a lot of fun. I also got to see Shotgun kids... Annie, Robert (Ro Ro), Stacey, McCargo and Gray. Lots of fun was had by all. I made it back at a fairly decent hour, and got to sleep in on Sunday which was FABULOUS! On Sunday didn't really do much except hang out here and watch TV, until I went to this Greek restaurant near my place for Susie's and KQ's birthdays. Lots and lots of fun. Hensly had to dance with the belly dancer on our table, and Susie and KQ also had to dance with the belly dancer. I got to hang out with Amy Smith and Jennie Yang for a while, and somehow got an invite to play at Seven Little Idiots this Sunday in Athens, so super excited about that. Also talked to Scott for a while, which was nice to see him, and hung out with Jenn Joyner and Edleman. It was so funny listening to everyone trying to work out some sort of running schedule, since apparently we all need a social gathering to help us run! So Jenn and I ended up running last night, and we ran for two miles! For some that isn't a lot, but for me that is pretty good! So, hopefully Jenn and I will be running maybe twice a week together, and then I'll have track workouts with others on Wednesdays! Thank Goodness for friends that also need to get into shape!
So the weekend was great, and the rest of this week is looking better... Tomorrow is Wednesday-which means only three more days of work before the weekend, then pickup tomorrow night. Running on Thursday with Jenn (hopefully), then women's league and Athens this weekend. I'm definitely living for the weekends at the moment!
And another one from Shawn, proving once and for all that I do dance on speakers, yet no alcohol was involved... for those of you that missed the party, you'll just have to wait for next year... I only do this for Nooga!

The Never Ending Changes
So, how fast can things change in one month you may ask... if you only knew. Since December 17 I have graduated from college and moved out of knoxville and into my aunt and uncles in ATL. Spent about a week in memphis, then spent christmas in Dyersburg. the monday after christmas mom and dad started moving all of thier furniture from their bedroom to dyersburg, along with mom's school stuff and some of my stuff of be put in storage. Had the cordova crew over at the house that thursday for the last mcclure get together in cordova. It was really sad that we weren't going to be hosting anymore! Got back here late on friday night, and spent new years here with stacey even though nothing happened. Started work this past monday, and as of 6pm today i will have made it through my first week, barely. So yeah, things have changed just a bit! I live in ATL, my parent's live in dyersburg, and my brother is currently resideing in KNoxville. I had to say goodbye to far too many people before graduation, and and with some it was really hard. But i'm getting better, and i've started running again, which totally shows exactly how little i have going on in my life at the moment. So since nothing is really going my way, i've decided to focus on ultimate and start getting in shape for the season(which isn't for about 8 months!) but i need it. I'm out of shape! So, that is the update.
