So I saw this card in the grocery store yesterday, and thought is was pretty entertaining, and very true. But in my case, it should read "Things I've Learned From My Daughter: Never 'come smell this'". At SMUT this year, I was giving my dad a hard time, and when they were about to leave I took off my visor and said "Hey Dad, come smell this." Here's the thing. I have not washed that visor in the four year's that I've been playing ultimate, nor did I wash it before that. So basically I've never washed it, and I've worn it as my ultimate hat for the better part of four years. SO, what does my dad do, but smell my hat, which i thought was pretty funny after the face he made, and that he was that gulible, and all my friends found pretty gross. This card just spoke to me.
Shawn Adams: Also this past weekend, and it was great. I played great (and we all know that if I actually feel this way after the tournament, I must have played pretty well), threw lots of hucks and scores, most of them completed, and had a great time at the party. We (Strike) lost in finals to Ozone, Rival beat IP in mixed finals, and the Wilmington Warriors beat Rumble Fish in open finals. There was someone from UT playing in both the women's and the men's finals. It was a great weekend, party was interesting... here are some of the photo's, along with some from Savannah Toss in the Moss and Atlanta EOS.
